STATEMENT FROM THE PILTON VILLAGE TRUST REGARDING THE PILTON CLUB
The Pilton Village Trust has placed an advert seeking expressions of interest in running what
is now the Pilton Club at the Village Hall. The purpose of this statement is to explain to the
village, and to all of the Trust’s beneficiaries, what the current arrangements are for the
Village Hall, why change is necessary and what steps the Trust is taking.
The Trustees of the Pilton Village Trust are looking for expressions of interest for running the facilities at the Pilton Club.
An advertisement has been placed in the Morning Advertiser with a closing date of 20 July 2024 publicising the opportunity.

The purpose of the request is to seek interested parties to operate a sustainable business from the old Club premises whilst also meeting the Trust’s objectives, to provide facilities for the use and benefit of the inhabitants of the parish of Pilton.

The main things the Trust are looking for are as follows:
1. a sustainable offering
2. which will benefit the parish of Pilton
3. by providing social facilities
4. which also supports the Village Hall.

We hope this step will generate considerable interest and the intention of the Trust is to negotiate with interested parties to develop a proposal that will secure a vibrant facility for the village well into the future.

Anyone who is interested should respond to the advert in the Morning Advertiser.
Pilton Village Trust manages the Village Hall on behalf of the residents of Pilton Village.
