Pilton Playing Fields AGM - 21st May 2023
At last year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Pilton Playing Fields Trust, the villagers present were asked whether they wished to carry on with the current arrangement of the Trustees from Pilton Village Hall to represent the Playing Fields or, alternatively, whether they wished to separate the election process for the trustees. The overwhelming majority voted for a separation.
The AGM is scheduled for the 21st May, 19:00 at the Pilton Playing Fields Pavilion, where there will be a vote to decide if the separation will proceed. If the separation proceeds, representatives from organisations in the village and Villagers within the Parish of Pilton will be asked to nominate themselves as a trustee to form a management committee for the Playing Fields Trust.
If you wish to be part of the vote to determine if the separation will proceed, please attend the AGM in person to cast your vote. To be eligible to vote you must be 18 years old or over and reside in the Parish of Pilton.
If you are over 18, live in the village and wish to put yourself forward for nomination to become part of the newly formed Pilton Playing Fields Trust, please register your nomination by Sat 13th May, by submitting your name, confirmation that you are over 18 and your residential postcode via
E-mail to - secretarypvhall@gmail.com
Or Telephone - 07723 058086
There will also be an opportunity to put your name forward for election at the AGM.
The newly elected Trustees will, together with those trustees put forward by the appointing organisations entitled so to do by the trust deed, form the new trust for a 12 month period, starting from their point of nomination at the AGM and host the next AGM in May 2024.
